J. Cole To Drop Mixtape Before Album

In a recent interview with Rap-Up, J. Cole said that he plans to put out a mixtape before the drop of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story. The mixtape doesn’t have a release date or a title just yet but will be released this summer. The mixtape will be full of tracks that didn’t make the cut for J. Cole’s album. Here’s what he had to say about his upcoming project:

It’s not gonna be The Warm Up or Friday Night Lights… I treated those like albums, this is going to be more of a true mixtape.
