Pop Smoke’s tragic and unexpected passing ripped a hole in the hearts of his fans, family, and contemporaries alike. A resurgent voice from New York, Pop’s pioneering of the Brooklyn drill scene painted him as one of the most influential figures of his musical generation. Paying homage to the dearly-departed, fellow Brooklyn MC Jay Gwuapo paid homage to his fallen friend earlier today with “Long Live The Woo.”
