jGersonOver the weekend we reported on Kanye’s banned album artwork and how he went on to complain about being stripped of his artistic vision. Since that tangent, Kanye West has announced that there will be five different album covers released for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and it just so happens that one of them leaked on Amazon this morning. The portrait of a woman holding a glass of wine was originally intented to acompany the single, “Runaway,” but was later changed.

In all honesty, I’m not liking the ‘artistic direction’ of this album thus far. First he changed the title from Good A$ Job (which was a solid title) to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and then he comes out with this artsy graphic. Where’s the bear at? No matter what, I can’t stay mad at Kanye for this (but if you want to stay mad at Kanye simply type “Kanye” into our search engine and you’ll find more than a few satisfactory posts). At the end of the day though it’s the music that matters, and Kanye has proven time and time again that he is capable of making great albums.
