Key! Questions His Girl’s Intentions On “Miami Too Much”

Why does she have to play with Key! like that?

Ah, Miami — a dualistic land that can impart as much joy as it does pain. The renowned party capital has a reputation for transforming any mundane weekend into a night filled with lasting memories; conversely, it can ravage its visitors, leaving them broke, jealous, and utterly distraught. On Key!’s latest track, “Miami Too Much,” he solicits a message that adheres to the latter mindset.

Assuming the role of a jealous boyfriend, Key! questions his girl frequenting the South Beach party haven, pondering her intentions and desires from the 305. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Key! unabashedly wonders why his well-intentioned love is constantly used to his detriment — he feels played by the girl in question.

A refreshing departure from the arrogant content that suffocates modern hip-hop, Key!’s vulnerability is ironically endearing, and will hopefully lead to a girl who appreciates him and his love.

New Music: FatKidsBrotha – “Money” feat. Jace & Key!

FatKidsBrotha, a relatively new group is teaming up with Jace and Key! (who was one of the founding members of Two-9) for "Money." The track is produced by Key! and DJ Fu and according to 2DopeBoyz it's "the final piece of the proverbial puzzle" which started with Two-9 aligning themselves with Mike Will Made It's Ear Drummers (home to Rae Sremmurd.) New Music: OG Maco – “Fat F**k” (Key! Diss)

OG Maco, the Atlanta rapper behind the viral hit "U Guessed It", is going at the featured artist on the aforementioned track (as well as collaborator on him Give 'Em Hell project) on his latest track bluntly (and harshly) titled "Fat F**k". Pretty cruel. Apparently Maco and Key! still work on a professional level but are at odds on a personal level. Interesting. Listen to the supposed Key! diss from OG Maco after the jump.

I hope this slowed down, hazy hip hop n' b wave never crashes. Makonnen can transform typical trap hits into orchestral movements, timeless stripper bump. This song is the smallest sample of that, and just enough of the off-kilter melodies to make it worth a repeat. Listen after the jump.
