Edited and co-directed by Kodak himself.
Kodak Black ended his 2018 campaign with the well-received Dying To Live album, home to cuts like “ZEZE” and “Calling My Spirit”. Today, Kodak’s stepped into the new year by releasing his new song and video “Pimpin Ain’t Eazy”.
Edited and co-directed by Kodak himself, the video itself is relatively raw, but this grittier aesthetic works fortuitously by accenting the song’s concepts. Reflecting on his come-up, “Pimpin Ain’t Eazy” is an honest portrayal of what Kodak has struggled through to arrive at his star-studded status. The type of song typically reserved for the beginning of an artist’s catalogue, the new Kodak track is retrospective excellence.
