Lil B Finally Drops ‘Black Ken’

It’s finally here: Lil B’s long-awaited mixtape, Black Ken. After numerous announcements surrounding the project, we can now enjoy a continuation in Lil B’s storied legacy. Available for purchase and on all streaming services, head to your platform of choice to cop this hit tape.

The 15-track initially appeared on Dat Piff yesterday August 16th, to Lil B’s dismay. After some back and forth with the mixtape giant, it seems they’ve resolved issues. Black Ken is now officially out everywhere, serendipitously released on his 28th birthday.

Black Ken is truly a solo initiative for TheBasedGod. Fully produced by himself, and only handing out one feature (iLoveMakonnen), the 27-track tape is a testament to his arduous work ethic and uncompromising vision.

Chief Keef Drops New Mixtape Finally Rolling 2

A new Chief Keef project has arrived. After sharing a trio of tracks "Chicago Zoo," "Get Your Mind Right," and "Who Dat" last week, Sosa returns with Finally Rolling 2 -- his long-gestating new mixtape -- as promised. The new mixtape features eighteen tracks and finds Keef rapping over Future and Drake's smash hit "Where Ya At," Lil Wayne and Birdman's "Stuntin' Like My Daddy" (which is "Stuntin Like My Mama" on Finally Rolling 2), and much more. Video: Lil B – “4 Tha Record” (The Weeknd Diss)

Lil B, the prolific Berkeley, CA rapper, is looking to drop his latest mixtape Thugged Out Pissed Out shortly (first since collaborating with Chance the Rapper back in August), and he's already sharing its first offering in a bit of urban menace many have forgotten existed within The BasedGod's mutated rap DNA. The track--along with a standard DIY music video for YouTube--finds Lil B going over an eerie beat, rapping about "the underworld" which, according to Lil B, he was "raised up" in. Additionally, Lil B directly acknowledges chart-topping Canadian recording artist The Weeknd (whose stock only continues to rise) with lyrics like "Call me Lil Bars with the XO Bars/ Saying fuck The Weeknd, I can't sing that soft", and "A lot of suckas fake, so I can't respect it/ Fuck The Weeknd, put that on record," rapped repeatedly--apparently BasedGod really doesn't like the singer-songwriter.
