The Chicago trio has something to say.
Throwing his hat into today’s “New Music Friday” ring, Lil Durk has tapped fellow Chicago MCs, G Herbo and Booka600, on “Riot.”
Looking inwards to expel his truths, Durk uses “Riot” to reflect on his past, and how that affects his, and peers’, current circumstances. Three individuals cut from a similar cloth, Durk, Herbo, and Booka make for conceptual complements, as they trade bars on the dualities of their lives. While their current rap stars, that wasn’t always the case, and the public tends to hold an antiquated opinion of them.
On “Riot,” Durk and company clear their minds while trying to correct public perspectives of them.
