Yesterday, July 1st, Lil Gotit dropped off a fresh new track, “Pop My Shit.” Promptly after, the Alamo Records-signed artist comes through with the single’s video.
Harboring a DIY aesthetic — akin to Chief Keef’s earlier career-launching videos — the “Pop My Shit” shows Lil Gotit with his friends making rounds at local spots in what’s presumably Atlanta, Lil Gotit’s hometown. In addition to frequenting eateries and corner stores, bystanders can be seen riding dirt bikes throughout the streets.
“Pop My Shit” acts as an official welcoming to Gotit’s life and where he’s from. It’s a raw and honest display of showing his humble beginnings — the preamble to his successful career.
