Lil Wayne Getting Sued Over Mrs. Officer

There seems to be no end in sight to Weezy’s legal problems. The rapper has been hit with a $2.5 million lawsuit that was filed by The Royalty Network.

The Royalty Network is suing Wayne and the lawsuit claims that the song “Mrs. Officer” off Weezy’s classic The Carter III was produced by Darius “Deezle” Harrison, who is saying that he owns the rights to the song.

Harrison is claiming that he owns the rights to all profits that have been made off the song as well and has seen none of it.

The copyright infringement lawsuit was filed yesterday in Manhattan Federal Court and there’s been no word on when Weezy will have to go court for this case. It’s most likely going to be on hold for a while as he has other more signifigant legal woes to worry about…
