A$AP Rocky has been hard at work lately, but hasn’t release a solo project since 2015’s At.Long.Last.A$AP. The groundbreaking, momentous body of work—which distanced Rocky further from his peers—has yet to receive a successor because Lord Flocko has been supplementally active, helping those around him—mainly with Cozy Tapes Vol. 2. Now that the second Cozy Tapes is finished, and flourishing, he’s ready to resume solo endeavors.
While he’d mentioned that his next solo album will drop before the year’s end, we only had his word—no tangible evidence. After reviewing some data, that might not be true.
In a AWGE-released DVD that featured Rocky and Lil Uzi Vert exchanging freestyle over Metro Boomin beats, a snippet of Rocky’s rumored new track, “Wok”, can be heard playing in the background. Purportedly, DRAM will appear on the final version.
Hopefully a 2017 A$AP Rocky album is closer than we think.
