Rounding out today’s “New Music Friday” is Chicago’s own Lucki with his new project, Days B4 III.
Following his well-received February-released Freewave 3, the new chapter in Lucki’s layered discography continues the 23-year-old’s journey into lo-fi production, underrated lyricism, and hazy flows. On-brand with his woozy aesthetic, Days B4 III fits nicely in Lucki’s catalogue while demonstrating further artistic honing; the slurred melodies ironically take firmer shape.
