The pairing of distinctly different styles somehow seems to always work out. Sweet and sour is a classic; salty and sweet works; and now we can add Miguel and Travis Scott to the mix thanks to their recent collaboration, “Sky Walker”.
The tonally laid back production pairs perfectly with Miguel’s crooner ways, and rhythmically and melodically facilitates Travis’ bouncy, airy sonics. Miguel is definitely feeling himself on this track, evidenced by his line, “I’m Luke Sky walking on all these haters.” And why should he be? “Sky Walker” is a great, vibey track that will help ring in the summer.
