Musiq Soulchild "dowehaveto"

Soul music has been on the back burner of America’s conscience for awhile. That’s a shame considering some of the best music available comes from the genre’s new and established talents. Nevertheless, Musiq Soulchild’s is one of those artists you root for as a follower of the genre since his track record is nothing to slouch at. His latest cut in “dowehaveto” is a return to form for the Philly crooner as he sings about a relationship gone sour. That may seem like familiar territory for Musiq and, well, you wouldn’t be wrong in coming to that conclusion. Nonetheless it’s emotive and captures the feeling of love lost quite well. The song will appear on Musiq Soulchild’s upcoming album titled MusiqInTheMagiq. The LP hits stores next Tuesday, May 3rd.
