“Power Trip” is just in time for Valentine’s Day, as the self-produced and Miguel-assisted single delves into the subject matter of lost love. “Power Trip” finds Cole returning home from a lucrative tenure on the road to realize that he still can’t shake an old flame. Based on what we’ve heard this week, expect big things from Cole throughout the year. Yes, it may very well end up that he drops a mixtape that’s doper than his album, but you can’t be mad at Cole’s consistency, let alone generosity.
