NYPD Rightfully Falls Back On Weed Arrests

When the NYPD isn’t getting away with rape, spying on rappers, or creating social media department to catch people snitching on themselves they are reminding their officers to STOP ARRESTING people for misdemeanor marijuana possession.  For once the higher ups know the deal.  People out here trying to get lit.  Fall back!  Spotted at AnimalNY via WNYC

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has issued an internal order to the New York City Police Department commanding officers to stop arresting people for small amounts of marijuana possession, if the marijuana was never in public view.  The directive comes at a time when the NYPD is taking increasing heat about alleged improper marijuana arrests.
