Remember his name.

Alabama’s OMB Peezy is quickly on the rise. Earlier this year, he inked a deal with the behemoth indie label, 300—home to the likes of Young Thug, Migos, Hopsin, and others, off the strength of his strongly-worded harrowing street tales. He later linked up with other mushrooming star, NBA YoungBoy, for their track, “Doin Bad”; he recently issued a track “Prey For Me” with Alex Snow and Gucci Mane. Now, he’s supplementing that rise by participating in Hot New Hip Hop’s new series, “Freestyle Sessions”.

In only 90-seconds, Peezy manages to not only body his freestyle, but demonstrate why he’s a force to be reckoned with, and why he has staying power. In his classic southern twang, Peezy describes his arduous come-up, and why he has his eyes set on grander aspirations.
