News broke recently that Post Malone would be delivering his third studio LP “soon”. An ambiguous classifier, a “soon” album announcement can instill equal parts excitement and frustration, as “soon” is a subjective term. However, Post has expanded upon this by providing concrete release details — in this case, “soon” is the good kind.
During the Bud Light Dive Bar tour in New York last night (Monday, August 5th), Posty addressed the intimate crowd by saying, “Guys, I have really fucking good news for Post Malone fans … My third album will be coming out in September.” Unsurprisingly, the audience rejoiced.
Other album details remain scarce, but given Post’s hit-making track record, it’s a safe assumption that his third album will continue this winning tradition. Although unconfirmed if they’ll appear on the album, Post has released singles like “Wow” and the Young Thug-assisted “Goodbyes” since his last album, beerbongs & bentleys.
Post Malone’s new album follows the acclaimed Stoney (2016) and beerbongs & bentleys (2018).
