tupac-shakurThere’s always been a shadow of intrigue following anything related to the late Tupac Shakur. It’s not without reason as he’s one of the most well known artists rap has ever seen. Now fans, courtesy of Quincy Jones III, will have another look at Shakur’s time on earth. The movie and film producer told XXL he and his QDIII production company worked on providing new information and perspectives regarding Tupac’s life: separated chronologically in six episodes. One of the main segments, naturally, recounts Tupac and Biggie’s friendship as evidenced by his words.

“One [episode] is just on Tupac and Biggie’s friendship,” he said. “You know, there’s a lot of things that people don’t know about that friendship even up until the very last day, things that Tupac was trying to do to mend that relationship. So we’re going to see the side of Tupac that people haven’t seen too often.”

The series will include first hand accounts and also sought consultation from Tupac’s mother during production. There’s no word yet on where the program will land but QDIII mentions he’ll announce the channel once things get straightened away.
