From the upcoming Epix series, Godfather of Harlem.

After delivering his 15-track, 66-minute, Port of Miami 2, one would think that Rick Ross would need a break from the booth. Condensing a myriad of information, pain, joy, and life into an album typically leaves the purveyor in need of a respite. But Rick Ross hasn’t achieved his boss level status by resting on his laurels. Not eve two-weeks after its release, Ross is back with Swizz Beatz and DMX on “Just In Case.”

A single from the Forest Whitaker-starring Epix show Godfather of Harlem, whose music is curated by Swizz himself, “Just In Case” sounds like a progressive New York instrumental, and recruits deft flows and verses from the featured artists. Embodying Harlem’s ethos in a gritty track, the new Rozay offering continues painting the Miami artist in an auspicious light.

Godfather of Harlem premieres on Sunday, September 29th.
