This weekend the world lost one of Queensbridge’s most slept-on emcees when Killa Sha passed away from complications stemming from diabetes.  Sha is best known for his work with Tragedy Khadafi and Mobb Deep.  His notable appearances include a verse on the star-studded “W.W.T.” from Tragedy Khadafi’s Thug Matrix album as well as his verse on “Contra” from Jedi Mind Tricks’ epic Violent By Design

Killa Sha’s last album God Walk On Water was released in 2007 on Traffic Entertainment.  Christian Hedlund, a representative for Traffic Entertainment said on behalf of the label, “we felt that Killa Sha was perhaps the last real Queensbridge rapper, period. He was a righteous individual, real stand-up guy, who delivered what he promised, and delivered quality.  Not something we run into all the time.

On behalf of iHipHop, our condolences go out to the family and friends of Killa Sha.
