Fresh off his Grammy nomination for “Best Rap Album” in Victory Lap, Nipsey Hussle has continued that 2018 momentum into the new year by releasing his Roddy Rich and Hit-Boy-assisted single, “Racks In The Middle”. Recently, the Crenshaw rapper came through with the track’s visual.
Switching between boarding private jets and boasting an impressive foreign car collection, the “Racks In The Middle” video furthers the song’s message of taking advantage of the fruits of one’s labor–especially after narrowly-escaping a marginalized life. It’s a celebration, sure, but it’s also a proclamation to never go back to those harrowing circumstances that almost robbed them of their chance to enjoy these lavish tropes.
