The famed producer steps into the lead artist spotlight.

While he’s more known as a producer, architecting such hits as Denzel Curry’s “ULTIMATE,” Ronny J is stepping out from behind the boards to become the frontman. Recently, Ronny was spotted getting high on his own supply by rapping with Ty Dolla $ign and Rich The Kid on his self-produced single, “Lights Out.”

Following a similar mold as Pi’erre Bourne, who has made a distinct shift into the rapper lane, Ronny J is here to prove that his talents extend past beat-making and into vocals.

Donning a slight auto-tuned aesthetic, Ronny uses “Lights Out” to show that he has what it takes to make it in this industry as the lead man. With strong assistance from Ty and Rich The Kid, coupled with his own captivating instrumental, Ronny’s “Lights Out” aims to metamorphosize his music career.
