OVO has been growing into a household name outside of its superstar founder, Drake. With dvsn and Majid Jordan’s recent releases, the Owl-bearing label is rubbing elbows with some of the most impressive imprints. One of its newest signees, Roy Woods, has added his album into the mix to further supplement OVO’s impressive rise.
Say Less is a 16-track, 56-minute project that showcases the crooner’s expansive abilities: the title track is a slow, woozy jam that disconnects the listener from reality; “What Are You On?” Is an upbeat track that borrows dancehall vibes while not straying too far from Woods’ artistic integrity. Mirroring his melodic ways is the R&B-heavy feature list, inclduing: 24hrs, PARTYNEXTDOOR, PnB Rock, and dvsn.
