Shaq Goes To A New Team While Alex Rodriguez Becomes The Youngest Player To Hit 600 Homeruns

The Eastern Conference champions Boston Celtics signed  Shaquille O’Neal today. The length of the contract is not known, but Shaq, who has been seeking a two-year deal, will play for the veteran’s minimum of $1.4 million annually. According to ESPN.Com

Alex Rodriguez aka A Rod hit his 600th career home run today at Yankee Stadium. A Rod hit a two-run homer to straightaway center field against the Toronto Blue Jays. A Rod is 35 years, 8 days, which makes him the youngest player in history to join the 600 Club, and the seventh player in baseball history to reach the milestone.

A Rod joins the company of major league baseball greats such as Barry Bonds (762), Henry Aaron (755), Babe Ruth (714), Willie Mays (660), Ken Griffey Jr. (630) and Sammy Sosa (609). According To ESPN.com

Back in 1996 Shaquille O'Neal dropped his You Can't Stop the Reign album and despite a whopping seventeen tracks there was one that was conspicuously missing. "The Bigger They R", featuring Fat Joe, Big Pun and Easy Mo Bee didn't make the cut due to legal reasons unbeknownst to us. But now, thanks to the powers of the internet the track is finally out, eighteen years later. Produced by Domingo we get verses from Shaq, Fat Joe, Big Pun, and even legendary producer Easy Mo Bee. Video: Lance Stephenson – “Hot N***a” (Freestyle)

Current Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson unsuspectedly dropped a freestyle to Bobby Shmurda's chart-topping "Hot N***a" single back in August and now he has released the official music video to accompany it. In the video Stephenson rides around his Brooklyn neighborhood of Coney Island, plays basketball, and just goes ham in the streets. No word as to what the Hornets think of all this, but doesn't look as though Stephenson gives a care. Check out the video after the jump.
