It’s a TDE connection.
One of TDE’s latest signees isn’t a gangster rapper, or any rapper really. He’s SiR, a soulful, pensive R&B artist with a penchant for enchanting melodies that facilitate his deep lyricism. But just because he doesn’t practice traditional West Coast rap himself doesn’t mean that the Inglewood artist doesn’t pair well with his region’s native hip-hop style. On his most recent track, “Something Foreign”, he does just that with TDE heavy hitter, ScHoolboy Q.
In addition to this track, SiR also released “Something New” this morning—his first two releases since his February-released EP, Her Too.
