What started as high school senior enjoying his hobby has gestated into a quasi media empire. Cole Bennett, owner and founder of Lyrical Lemonade, has leveraged his artistic eye, directorial skills, and editing abilities for a place as one of hip-hop’s few gatekeepers. At 2.5MM YouTube subscribers, Cole’s videos get views. Most recently to receive the Cole Bennett treatment are in-demand artists Smokepurpp and Murda Beatz on “123”.
Hazy visuals usher us through the Bennett production, showing Smoke and Murda floating through a drug-laced journey. The lines between reality and hallucination are blurred, leaving a wake of interpretation to be followed.
