SandrasaysSo the gossip blogs have been buzzing about the highly-anticipated hip-pop collaboration of Kanye West and Justin Bieber. Ye formally invited the Biebs to work on his star-studded Watch The Throne, an invitation that was reportedly ignored.
A source from Biebs’ management team stated: “Justin likes Kanye’s music, but he’s worried he’s done too many controversial things and it would hurt his image. Between the sex scandals, political gaffes and interrupting Taylor Swift, Kanye is known as a genius but a big risk to associate with!”
Harsh! However he takes his frustration to Twitter: “[S]ome rumors…i just dont know where they come from. me and @kanyewest are good. This right here is just FALSE”
The two have unofficially worked together with a track called “Runaway Love .” Biebs and Ye have been in the studio before, jamming out to some beats and Kanye even tweeted: “My new beat protégé”
So Justin never really confirmed whether he was going to get down on a track with Kanye and that leaves me to wonder. If the two don’t come out with something together soon, I can’t help but think, despite his previous success with scoring monster collaborations (i.e. All Of The Lights), Kanye might be too controversial for some artist’s images.
