It has been 48 hours since the slaying for the mother and brother of Jennifer Hudson and yet the Oscar winners seven year old nephew is still missing. Julian King, the son of Jennifer’s sister Julia Hudson has been missing since Friday and Chicago police and the Hudson family including Jennifer who posted a blog on her myspace are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that might lead to the boy being reunited with his family.
Julia Hudson returned to the families home on Chicago’s Southside early Friday afternoon to discover the bodies of her mother, Darnell Donerson and brother Jason Hudson, both of which had been shot. The Chicago Police Department has up until this point made only one arrest, that of Julia’s estranged husband William Balfour who served seven years in prison for attempted murder. The couple who are reported to have been caught up in a domestic dispute due to Balfour selling a car belonging to Julia without her permission, had been living together in the family residence until recently. Balfour has refused to help cops with their inquiries into where the missing child might be.
Balfour’s mother is claiming her son is innocent and has also appealed to those that have any information on where Julian might be to come forward.
