Stop Sleeping & Open Your Ears

I came across this group recently and I gotta say I’m really feeling them.  King Fantastic is self described as “westcoastsynthesizerbeachbumgangstermusic.”  I think it’s a pretty accurate description.  Producer Troublemaker manages to make me break my neck with his drums, while simultaneously lacing some electro-pop dancy synths on top, that makes me wanna bring the ruckus with some fat-boy dance moves.  Emcee Killer Reese One brings some fire verses to match perfectly with these beats.  These two artists compliment each other so well it’s a little crazy.

They have a free album for download called Finger Snaps & Gun Claps which is an awesome album title in my opinion.  The video for “Hollyrock Jam Session” is tight too.  They’ve definitely made a supporter of me.  I highly recommend coping the album, and if you’ve got some cash, support them too as they have some cool stuff for sale on their website.  Let me know what you think, as always.
