French Montana and Fetty Wap are bringing their respective East Coast sensibilities to their Coke Zoo — a collaborative mixtape due out October 27th. French Montana is coming off his Casino Life 2 mixtape, as well as hit single ”Off the Rip”, while Fetty Wap is still basking in the success of hit singles ”Trap Queen”, ”679”, ”My Way”, and ”Again”. In addition to his chart-topping singles, Fetty recently released his self-titled debut album, which topped the Billboard Hot 200 for first week album sales. Nevertheless, this seemingly unlikely pairing of French and Fetty are uniting the East Coast with Coke Zoo, a thirteen track mixtape — with five tracks featuring both rappers — that has some star-studded features along the way. That’s the tracklist above, but you may also find ”First Time”, the tape’s first offering (featuring Puff Daddy talking smack), after the jump.
Jersey’s premiere hitmaker Fetty Wap will finally drop an album — his self-titled on September 25th — after releasing a string of singles in “Trap Queen,” “679,” “My Way,” “Again,” all which have landed within the Billboard Top 40 charts. “Jugg,” featuring Remy Boyz’s RGF Productions’ member Monty, is the latest cut from Wap, and will appear on that forthcoming album. That’s the (awesome) cover art above and the pre-order is here, via iTunes, but peep “Jugg” after the jump.
Ty Dolla $ign will finally be dropping his debut album, Free THC. Unfortunately, however, it may be little too late for the West Coast artist. Music just isn’t in the market for Ty right now — the streets are being flooded with heat. But he’s still churning out tunes for his fans and here he has “When I See Ya” featuring another big time hitmaker, Fetty Wap. Check out “When I See Ya” after the jump, and pre-order Free THC on iTunes now.
Lil Durk is sitting on a hit with “Like Me” from his debut album, Remember My Name. The kid’s come a long, long way — from the streets of Chicago to the big stage — and it’s nice to see someone getting out of trouble. Unfortunately the album isn’t all that hot and I’m not feeling the new direction Durk has gone in. I prefer his work on Life Ain’t Joke or the first installment to his Signed to the Streets mixtape series. Either way, “Like Me” is a pleasant enough track, and the additions of Jeremih, Lil Wayne and bona fide superstar Fetty Wap are good to set the track over. Listen to the remix of Durk’s “Like Me” after the jump.
In case you haven’t heard: Fetty Wap is basically everywhere. His loosies “My Way,” “679 (Remy Boyz),” “Again” and the biggest of ’em all, “Trap Queen” are dominating the charts. And Fetty doesn’t appear to be stopping any time soon as he returns with a new track in “I Wonder.” Listen after the jump!
Fetty Wap links up with fellow XXL Freshman, Shy Glizzy, for “Why You Mad,” yet another loosie from Wap. Good news: This isn’t a cover of that atrocious Vic Mensa track. Check out Wap’s “Why You Mad” featuring D.C.’s Shy Glizzy after the jump.
Fetty Wap isn’t letting up for a second since hitting it big with his platinum-selling, chart-topping “Trap Queen” single. And although that song is starting to see its way out despite it only being July (the track has been heralded as the “song of the summer”) Fetty is flooding every venue he and his team have access to with new music. And that’s smart, why not capitalize while you’re hot? That’s just how simple business works. Supply and demand, fam! Peep the new Fetty Wap cut “D.A.M. (Dats All Me)” after the jump.
Fetty Wap is killing it right now, you know that. “Trap Queen,” “My Way,” and “Show You” are all bonafide hits, and the XXL Freshman is delivering some new heat for ya’ll to cruise to. The Patterson, NJ native is giving you two new cuts in “Sumn Quick” and “Ride or Die.” Peep both after the jump… this is Fetty’s summer!
Insert sad face emoji here. I miss old Project Pat. What the hell happened to Pat-ah? Has he lost it? Where’s the help from successful young brother Juicy J? Pat-ah has been churning out some of the worst “slappers” in recent memory (more like knee slappers, am I right) I remember this dude used to drop straight heat. Yes, that was back in the late 90s-early 2000s, but still! Here Pat is teaming up with one of the hottest, buzzing rappers out in the game, Fetty Wap for “Rollin’ Drank.” There’s also some dude named Big Trill. Yep. Check out “Rollin’ Drank” after the jump… if you wish.
Well folks, your 215 XXL Freshman Class is here. As expected there’s plenty of talent on the list, with some already making serious moves. Of course, Fetty Wap has the #2 song in the country with “Trap Queen” and OG Maco recently inked a record deal with Motown/Universal. There’s also Vince Staples who has his debut album dropping soon. Check out a full list of the 2015 XXL Freshman Class after the jump.

Miami and DC join forces to take on New Jersey on the “Trap Queen” remix. Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” is a smash hit and is getting big time radio play, despite being released last spring. Rick Ross and Fat Trel have decided its better to be late than never. Listen to Rozay’s and Trel’s remix of “Trap Queen” after the jump.
New Jersey’s Fetty Wap is blowing up thanks to his breakout single “Trap Queen.” And naturally, everyone is jumping on it to either remix or freestyle. First we had one exclusively done by French Montana which prompted Atlanta’s Quavo (of the Migos) to jump on it, too. Now, Fabolous is contributing a verse to the French Montana remix of “Trap Queen.” Listen after the jump.
Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” cut has been making rounds in the streets and airwaves for a minute now, so naturally with the success of a song come the remixes and freestyles, ad nauseam. This one is courtesy of Quavo, one third of the Atlanta’s Migos. Listen after the jump.
