Sadly Meek Mill was relatively quiet during the latter half of 2014 due to legal problems. But now that he’s officially out and a free man Meek is looking to use 2015 to his advantage and with that he’s dropping some new heat to tease fans. First he raps over Wu-Tang Clan’s classic “C.R.E.A.M.” instrumental for “Ice Cream” and second he’s got a fire freestyle entitled “The Get Back Freestyle.” Listen to both after the jump.

For those unfamiliar with GOODZ he is a battle rapper who has a bit of a history with Cassidy. GOODZ battled Cassidy years ago and like all battle emcees the two went back and forth over who won. And in recent news, GOODZ and Cass had a heated exchange on stage during Summer Madness 4. Word is, from those whom attended, GOODZ challenged Cass right on the spot but Cassidy turned down the battle instantaneously. Fast forward to a few days ago with Cassidy dropping “Mr. Chicken”, a track aimed at a select few battle rappers. One of those battle rappers happened to be… you guessed it… his arch nemesis GOODZ. After a bit of a hiatus, Philly’s very own Asaad made his return earlier this year by dropping his Flowers II mixtape. In addition to dropping the well-received mixtape, Asaad also made a guest appearance on Ab-Soul’s “Stigmata” off of his These Days… album.
