This track has been out for a while, roughly two months. The track, “Drinks On Us,” first dropped back in December with Mike Will Made It’s Ransom mixtape but it didn’t start picking up steam until The Weeknd jumped on the remix. Now, we have an official, iTunes version available in all its 256kbps glory. Check it out after the jump.
The rapper-producer duo of Freddie Gibbs (Gary, Indiana) and Madlib (Oxnard, California) could not have worked out better than it already has, as their debut collaborative album Pinata from earlier this year has reached a level of critical and fan acclaim very few hip-hop albums have seen in recent memory. And now their excellent “Knicks” cut gets a remix from the great Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, and Ransom. Damn, now that’s a stacked line-up. Listen after the jump and be on the look out for Gibbs and Madlib’s forthcoming Knicks Remix EP due out Nov. 18.
Joe Budden’s new EP Some Love Lost is dropping November 4th and today he has shared “Make a Deal” featuring Ransom. This is the second time Budden has linked up with Ransom, the previous time was for the track “Nothing Changes” with Tsu Surf. However, this track will not be appearing on Budden’s forthcoming Some Lost Lost EP. Listen after the jump.
Here’s a meta song if there ever was one. Mike WiLL Made It, who is slated to drop his new mixtape Ransom, debuts a new song entitled “Pu**y Overrated” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Future. As I’m sure you all know both Wiz and Future recently had an ugly breakup with their baby mommas (Amber Rose and Ciara, respectively) and this track is essentially a disrespect to the former love interests of the two. Future even croons “You’re supposed to fu*k me like a star/You know you’re faking.” Jeez! Peep the new track after the jump.
It’s been a rough last couple of months for Joe Budden. After a string of terrible PR incidents (which includes, but not limited to, an arrest following an alleged robbery) Budden returns with “Nothing Changes”. The track features battle rap superstars Tsu-Surf and Ransom. Listen after the jump.
Take a snapshot of Young Thug, who is a new South legend in the making. It will last longer. This driven, chirpy gangster music should deter anyone from wanting to live That Life, but it sounds so excited and manic, you can’t help but wonder… This is from Mike Will Made It’s upcoming project Ransom. Listen after the jump.
