Check out The Genius in his oft-forgotten pre Wu-Tang days alongside ‘Ol Dirty Bastard and the RZA; then known as Ason Unique and Prince Rakeem respectively. They’re all featured on a public access show in the Bronx back in ’91. It’s worth watching the whole way through if you’re into seeing notable rappers before they reached prominence. ODB, uncharacteristically reserved, also beat boxed in this clip too. I don’t know who that other guy is. However I bet he wishes he stayed friends with these cats a little while longer.

Last month, it was reported that Wu-Tang Clan's one-of-a-kind album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, had been sold for "millions." Bloomberg has revealed the buyer's identity: Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli. Shkreli is the former hedge fund manager (and Collect Records associate) who made headlines this year for increasing the price of Daraprim—a drug used to treat AIDS and cancer patients—from $13.50 to $750. He reportedly paid $2 million for the album. Now in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Shkreli revealed that he's planning to bail out incarcerated Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda while also firing off some shots at RZA and the rap industry. The wait is finally over, Wu-Tang Clan's first album in over seven years, A Better Tomorrow, is here. After teasing the album with singles like "Ruckus In B Minor," "Necklace," and "A Better Tomorrow" the Staten Island rap collective has made the entire album available for stream via YouTube. After finally announcing the release of their highly-anticipated, long-gestating new album A Better Tomorrow back in early October, Wu-Tang Clan followed it up by dropping two new tracks within a span of a few weeks. Those two new cuts being "Ruckus In B Minor" (which they performed on Letterman last night) and the gritty "Necklace." Now Clan is back in the front, sharing the title track. After announcing their forthcoming, long-gestating A Better Tomorrow will be released despite delays and inner group conflict the Wu goes and shares a proper follow-up to "Ron O'Neal" (released back in August, jeez!) with "Ruckus In B Minor".
