This is what I’ve been waiting for; the follow up dish to “Primo’s Four Course Meal.”  Celph Titled certainly does not disappoint with the lyrics and Buckwild proves why he’s one of the illest to ever do it as well (“I am the answer to every wack rappers demo song/cuz I am the fresh-maker like the f*ckin’ Mentos song“).  It’s extremely crazy to hear Celph going in over Big L’s classic, “Put It On,” but then again all of Nineteen Ninety Now should be nuts considering all the beats were made between 1994 and 1995.  The other three instrumentals used in this promo track are sort of obscure (Artifacts’ “C’Mon Wit Da Get Down (Remix)”, Buschwackas’ “Caught Up in the Game”, Little Indian’s “One Little Indian (Remix)”).  Celph Titled and Buckwild’s underground oeuvre, Nineteen Ninety Now, drops October 26th and features guest appearances from fellow Army of the Pharaohs members Vinnie Paz, Apathy, and Esoteric, as well as DITC members A.G., O.C., and Diamond D, plus many more.  I’m going to call it now – this album will be acclaimed an underground classic the second it leaks onto the net.

Joell Ortiz returned with a freestyle entitled “Joell Christopher” which features the Slaughterhouse emcee spitting over Reflection Eternal’s In This World.”  This track comes from Rap Radar’s Mixtape of the Year hosted by DJ Green Lantern and DJ Drama.

Rock of Heltah Skeltah recently released his latest mixtape, Rockin Out West, which features the New York emcee going in over West Coast productions.  Ras steals the show with his opening verse.  This is a pretty short song, but worth checking out.

I don’t know much about Mark Deez other than that he’s been featured on various mixtape compilations, so I can only imagine how much he dropped to get G Rap and Canibus on a track together.  Overall, this is a decent track that features Deez actually outshining both legends.  The closing cuts by White Shadow are pretty dope.  Mark Deez’s Bootstrap Theory LP drops next week.

One of my favorite emcees of all time, Copywrite, is getting ready to release his long-awaited sophomore album, The Life And Times of Peter Nelson. On this freestyle over a Stu Bangas beat for his HipHopdx freestyle series, Cwrite absolutely annihilates the beat with bar after bar of wildness (“I paint music, pitch black on the curb/treat life like scrabble, never go back on my word“).  Copywrite’s album drops November 2nd and features production from RJD2, Khrysis, Illmind, DJ Rhettmatic, and Marco Polo, plus guest appearances by Crooked I, Camu Tao, Dilated Peoples, Heltah Skeltah, Ruste Juxx, and MF Grimm and more.

Speaking of white boy(s) that can spit (well, there’s only one), this one’s from the New York duo The Doppelgangaz.  Matter ov Fact and EP kill this track with crazy flows over a dope production. I definitely need to hear more from the duo in the future.

Super-producer Nottz is gearing up the release of his solo debut, You Need This Music.  On the latest album leak “Blast That” the acclaimed producer joins forces with Black Milk to drop some bombs over a heavy-bass instrumental.  Not surprisingly, Black Milk outshines Nottz on this one.  Based on Nottz’s work on Rah Digga’s Classic, This Music should be hot…it drops October 26th.

In other producer news, CunninLynguists member, Kno, is also readying the release of his solo debut, Death Is Silent.  “La Petit Mort (Come Die with Me)” features Kno holding down the mic with his own verses.  This is a daNk track featuring a beautiful instrumental featuring a sound that reminds me of ominous gusts of wind.  In case you didn’t get the memo, this song is about Kno dying alongside is girl, but it’s not overly depressing.  The closing sample is from Kanye West acapella version of Chain Heavy.”  Death Is Silent hits iTunes October 12th and then retail October 26th.

And the producers keep on coming…Here’s the latest single from producer Doc Ish’s forthcoming album, The First Treatment, which drops October 26th.  The man who made “We Made You,” crafted a dope one for Joe Budden, Talib and Sean P!  I personally thought Joey stole the show with the line “I let em be Heath Ledger and keep on sleeping.”  This song is NOT available for free download, so the link below will take you to the iTunes download page…support real Hip Hop!
