T.I. Gets 1st Prison Kite from PETA

T.I. has recieved his first letter in prison, and it’s not from Alfamega.  PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has sent the letter below to Mr. Grand Hustle in an attempt to get him to join the “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign.  I’m assuming that they don’t know he’s from Atlanta, GA (a place where dogs are mascots) and that he had Michael Vick in the same video he wore a fur coat in (Rubber Band Man).  Good Luck!

New Music: Joe Budden – “SlaughterMouse” (Open Letter to Eminem)

Joe Budden is sharing "SlaughterMouse," a track that he previewed a month back. The track, initially perceived to be a diss towards Eminem, is actually more of an open letter to the famed Detroit emcee. Budden positions himself as a sort of "Stan" here, leveling much praise for Eminem and his career. The track may or may not appear on Budden's forthcoming All Love Lost album, dropping next month. The recent situation between Young Thug and Lil Wayne is escalating albeit in a confusing manner. Here's the breakdown: Lil Wayne doesn't want to be part of Birdman's YMCMB, Wayne's highly-anticipated studio album Tha Carter V is put on hold, Young Thug is putting out his debut album entitled Carter 6 in tribute to Wayne, Wayne doesn't like it and calls out Thug, Thug responds by saying he doesn't want any problems and reiterates that the newly titled Barter 6 is a tribute to Wayne. T.I.'s working relationship with Pharrell dates back to Tip's I'm Serious days; for those of you not hip to the game, that's 2001. The two have remained close and any time T.I.'s got a new album cooking you better believe Pharrell will be there either providing Tip with the hook, the chorus, a verse, or production.
