Take cover.

Tory Lanez has emerged as one of the game’s most prolific artists. A self-proclaimed studio rat who’s manifested his diamond-encrusted dreams through diligence and talent, the Toronto musical hyphenate has cornered the market through consistent output and refreshing sonic stylings. We all know he can sing; we all know he can spit with the best of them. Today, he dons his rapid-fire flow on the new single, “Forever.”

With his lexical machine gun fully-loaded, Tory unloads the clip of lyrical bullets with a palpable intensity. However, despite proving why he’s one of today’s more respected pure spitters, Tory reserves pockets to peel back the intensity, showcasing his singing chops as well.

Tory has made many project announcements throughout the year, with his fourth studio album, the entirely spanish-spoken El Agua, scheduled to drop next month after his promised Chixtape’s imminent release — a continuation in his New Toronto series. Already, he’s released the April tape, International Fargo.

Yes, Tory is one of the game’s most prolific; “Forever” is just further proof of that.
