We’d been waiting several years on its release, and two weeks ago, August 3rd, we finally received the fabled Astroworld. With expectations surrounding its release soaring, it was plausible to suspect that this album couldn’t meet the hype. Travis Scott did more than just meet the Astroworld hype–he delivered quite possibly his best body of work to date. And now, fans will have the chance to see this masterful project on the road, as Travis recently announced the “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here Tour”.
Known for his wildly energetic, rambunctious concerts, the “Astroworld Tour” is primed for an incredible live show experience. After all, as Scott says on the album’s opening track “STARGAZING”, “And it ain’t a mosh pit if ain’t no injuries.”
Announced in an Instagram post, Travis said, “IVE BEEN READY TO GET BACK ON ROAD FOR A LONG TIME!! ASTROWORLD TOUR IS FINALLY HERE!!” He announced, “PRESALE NOW ON SHOP.TRAVISSCOTT.COM ON SALE NEXT WEEK! I MADE SEASON PASSES FOR THE REAL RAGERS. U GET IN FIRST!! VERY LIMITED. BRING THE SWEATTTT.”
