His first official new track of the year.

It’s been a relatively quiet year thus far for Trippie Redd. The Ohio native enjoyed a fruitful 2018 with releases like A Love Letter To You 3 and Life’s A Trip, but has yet to release an official new 2019 single (he did, however, drop a 2019 compilation tape, Trippie Redd’s Old Self, that features songs from four-years ago). Today, the red-haired artist has righted that wrong by releasing “Murder” on YouTube today, April 3rd.

Featuring production from jackwiththemac, “Murder” is a sub-two-minute offering that provides a spacey instrumental accented by ethereal touches for Trippie to perfectly croon over.

The new Trippie joint was released alongside a video, which is cloaked in a DIY aesthetic that finds Trippie donning an orange sweatsuit hanging alongside his homies — including fellow 1400 artist, Chris King.
