Director Tom Lowe has released this production footage from his forthcoming debut film, ‘TimeScapes’. It’s beautiful portrait of the American Southwest that’s captured various landscapes at different times of the day and night. The video was filmed and edited at 4K (4069×2304) resolution, it being four times greater than regular 1080p HD. Shot on Red Epic and Canon RAW still cameras.

Chance the Rapper Stars as Man Contemplating Suicide in New Short Film; Watch Trailer

Chance the Rapper has remained awfully quiet since he broke through with his excellent Acid Rap tape. His Surf project with Donnie Trumpet and The Social Experiment is forthcoming but for solo Chance there hasn't been much. He's kept busy with various other endeavors including acting. In Collin Tilley's short film called Mr. Happy, Chance the Rapper stars as Victor, a depressed guy who discovers a website—MrHappy.com—where he can hire a hitman to kill him. Video: Jay Electronica Stars in New Film Into the Light; Watch the Trailer

Sorry, no new material here. The highly reclusive Jay Electronica may not be dropping new music any time (though he promised... on many occasions) but he is starring in an upcoming film. The film in question, Into the Light, directed by Jason Goldwatch and produced by Mass Appeal, will be released in 2015 and is of the experimental variety. Meaning the plot synopsis isn't quite clear, but what really is with Jay Elec nowadays? Watch the trailer for Into the Light after the jump.
