It’s been a minute since I’ve seen a good April Fool’s  Day prank, so I have to give it up for Von Pea.  A track by the Tanya Morgan emcee called “My Life (produced by 9th Wonder)” has been making it way around the blogs today…the only thing is, it’s definitely not a 9th Wonder beat.  However, I can guarantee you’ve heard this beat somewhere before…not going to ruin it for you.

Video: Talib Kweli & 9th Wonder – “Which Side Are You On” feat. Tef Poe & Kendra Ross

Last month, 9th Wonder and Talib Kweli -- under the pseudonym Indie 500 -- were graciously joined by West Coasters Problem and Bad Lucc. Today, they're sharing the powerful visuals from their latest track, ''Which Side Are You On'', featuring another pair of guests in Tef Poe and Kendra Ross. Furthermore, Kweli revealed the concept behind ''Which Side Are You On'', as well as it's moving video. Kweli says the song ''pays homage to those murdered by the police over the past year and those who have taken a stand'' and that the video -- which contains footage from the Ferguson Rocks and Ferguson Is Everywhere fundraiser -- features Tom Morello, Bun B, Common, Outernational, Cornel West, Pharoahe Monch, Jasiri X, M-1 of dead prez and K'Valentine all of whom ''participated in the August concerts''. Super-producer 9th Wonder and all-around stand-up emcee Talib Kweli, better known as Indie 500, are finally sharing the first offering from their collaborative project in "Pay Ya Dues," which features a pair of West Coast rappers, Problem and Bad Lucc. No word as to when their highly-anticipated debut project will drop, but alls we know is "Pay Ya Dues" is the jam and the production, handled by The Soul Council's Eric G, is dope as hell. Jaden has been on a roll with his music especially with the run he went on late last year. He dropped so much bombs on us it was beginning to get hard to keep up with it all. Download Jaden Smith’s New Album CTV2

A mere day after his 14-year-old sister Willow dropped a brand new track featuring SZA, Jaden Smith returns the favor with a new album. Entitled CTV2, Jaden has made the entire project available via his very own music app. While the project is a brief eight tracks one particular track "Let It Breathe" clocks in at over ten minutes. Needless to say Jaden continues his reputation as a stream-of-consciousness, liberated spirit on the project (see previous releases like "Trophy" and "Melancholy" for reference).
