Wale sought inspiration from Tiger Woods’ extracurricular activities in this song leading up to his More About Nothing mixtape. His latest starts off with Tiger’s infamous (and still kinda funny) voicemail plea to whatever sidepiece that was quick to sing. From there Wale rhymes from Tiger’s perspective post-scandal and contemplates on the media backlash along with the millions to spare on broads lined up with legal fees. Honestly this isn’t a bad concept record even if he got to the topic a bit late. Here’s hoping he has more quality tracks in store when More About Nothing hits the internet August 3rd.

Also according to CMB:

The city of Baltimore recently threatened rapper Wale, with legal action due to his use of profanity during this years Artscape Festival.

Director of the festival, Bill Gilmore, was shocked by the rapper’s language and threatened legal action on the rapper. Gilmore says they were caught off guard:

“He is not known to do that kind of performance. We were pretty much caught off-guard.”

Wale responded to the claims via his twitter:

“I keep hearing stuff bout me cursing at the artscape, like I’m banned from there.”

Despite the not as threatening threats, no legal action is to be taken against the rapper and the city is dropping the case against Wale.

Trying to sue a rapper for using profanity? If that’s not ironic, I don”t know what is.
