Money, money, money…

According to the good folks over at TMZ, the concert promotion company known as It’s My Party has landed in the crosshairs of the new parent by way of a $1,000,000.00 lawsuit. Wiz claims that his reputation has been damaged due in part to the company booking him to perform at George Mason University, and then canceling the show.

According to the lawsuit, It’s My Party promised the champion weed smoker $85,000.00 and also a piece of the profits, but didn’t stay true to their word. But It’s My Party claimed that they couldn’t fill the 7,000-seat arena, and no formal contracts were signed. Looks like a classic case of, “Nobody lost anything, so get on with your lives.”
