So according to XXL it looks like one of my favorite rappers, Young Chris, is going to be linking up with Mark Ronson‘s Alido Records with distribution from either Roc Nation or Interscope for his debut album, Now Or Never.  The deal was actually solidified through Young Chris‘ relationship with fellow artist Wale who happens to signed to Alido.

Chris said on his relationship with Wale “One thing about me and Wale is there’s no egos -we’re like brothers from another,” he said. “Basically, one day, Wale just called me like, “Yo, I’ma holla at Rich [Klienan] and Mark [Ronson] and let them know they need to look at you- not sayin’ that you can’t get a deal but they need to do something with you before somebody else grabs you.’ I went over to Allido and once we figured out I was free – no attachments and basically ready to go – we just been working. Mark’s been giving me records, and me and Wale been touring and throwing records together – just building our relationship just so when the deal gets done, everything is a go.”

Young Chris is also working on a mixtape with Wale called The Odd Couple, which should be straight fire.  However, even before that tape materializes expect a tape from Young Chris called The Network with features from Wale, Bun B, J. Cole, and if everything goes to plan Drake.  That should also be very dope.  I want you guys to start paying attention to what happens bewtween three guys.  Wale, Young Chris, & J. Cole.  I have a feeling we are going to see them doing a lot of stuff together as Alido & Roc Nation are clearly in cahoots.
