Looks like Plaxico Burgess needs to start checking out the ‘Positions Vacant’ columns after loosing his place on the Giants team on Friday. This stems from the gun charges the wide receiver faces after shooting himself in the leg in a Manhattan nightclub in December of last year. He had been suspended without pay following the shooting but obviously the powers that be over decided to let him loose. He is back in court on gun charges in June.
Maybe he should have a word with Michael Vick who is rumored to be starting a 40 hour week construction job to prove to Atlanta Falcons bosses that he is determined to put right all the wrongs he has done. His Chapter 11 bankruptcy claim was thrown out of court last week when a judge said he needed to file a claim based around more certainty as opposed to assuming he was going to return to the NFL.

Updated: ScHoolboy Q Detained After Shooting At Concert In Colorado

Shots were fired outside a Nas, ScHoolboy Q, and Flying Lotus concert at Colorado's famed Red Rocks Amphitheater last night. The shooting, which injured three people, forced the venue to be shut down as law enforcement searched for a black male with a rifle. No arrests have been made, although ScHoolboy was detained by Jefferson County Police.
