iHipHop AdminBelieve it or not, Canibus has dropped seven albums since debuting in 1998 with Can-I-Bus. Even though it seems longer than a couple of years, Canibus’ last album Hip-Hop For Sale dropped in November 2005.
Canibus now has announced his new album, For Whom the Beat Tolls, is set to drop in May. No tracklist has been announced but Canbus’ website, CANIBUSONLINE, said that there are 17 new tracks including the “greatest rhyme of all time ‘Poet Laureate Infinity,’” produced by DJ Premier.
According to various fan websites, Canibus has been staying busy working on mixtapes and two other albums, including a sequel to Rip The Jacker. Apparently Canibus has also been working with everyone from one-time mentor to nemesis Wyclef Jean, Nas, MF Doom, Tyrese, Royce Da 5’9”, Mya and a bunch of other folks. We’ll believe it when we see it.

Canibus is simply a lyrical wecking machine and the 1 problem is these days LYRICS DONT SELL. so unless Can I decided to add some hot girls and some grille pieces and 67 chevys to the video he WILL CONTINUE TO NOT SELL RECORDS.. I could get Canibus a good song but the only problem is he has to switch it up on the flow. Rakim was using words ANYONE can understand Can i Bust. does not. he is so smart nobody understands so how does this guy with all these lyrics make hits????ANSWER: THE NEPTUNES…..BING.

ziplok took the words out of my mouth. the game is ran by a bunch of preschool rappers that couldn’t come up with 1/4 of canibus lyrics on his worst day. all this two step and walk it out shit is corny and getting very old. it’s tragic that the guys that have talent don’t sell and people like lil jon and the rest of the no talent georgia rappers(excluding ludacris and t.i.) are killing the game and their dumb fans wallets.
