If you’re able to make out east, west or down south this summer, you’d be able to check out some hot music festivals. As previously announced, Rage Against the Machine and Wu-Tang Clan will be headlining the Rock The Bells Festival in New York (July 28), San Francisco (August 18) and San Bernardino (August 11). Now organizers have announced that Cypress Hill, The Roots, Public Enemy, Sage Francis, Mos Def, APMD, Jedi Mind Tricks and Immortal Technique are on board for all three dates, with MF Doom, FELT, Hieroglyphics, Living Legends, Blackalicious, the Coup, Murs, Brother Ali, Cage, Mr. Lif, Grouch & Eligh, Hangar 18, Bluepring and Lucky I AM.

The Essence Music Festival is set to go down from July 5-7 in New Orleans. Beyonce, Chris Brown, Lionel Richie, Mary J Blige and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly have already been announced. Organizers just announced the additions of Ludacris, Ne-Yo, The O’Jays, Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill, Robin Thicke and Steve Harvey.
