Featuring Yung Miami of City Girls.
Cousin Stizz hasn’t released any new material since his 2018 three-track EP, Cold Times. A naturally selective artist, Stizz strategically picks his times to drop music, ensuring that fans receive the best version of him — and to never dilute his product. Fans have been patient, however, awaiting the return of the Boston MC. Today, he’s done just that by dropping the City Girls-assisted song, “Perfect.”
Over a thumping Lil Rich production, Stizz offers a stark reminder of why fans tolerate his lapse in releases: he has a penchant for crafting hits.
On “Perfect,” Stizz reaches into his eclectic bag of flows and pulls out one that beautifully complements the spaced-out instrumental by enlisting through his sporadically-worded verses and hook. Heeding his direction, Yung Miami provides her own unique flavor while adhering to the song’s thematic rhythm.
Welcome back, Cousin Stizz.
