Def Jam’s Reid: “Anything Nas Wants To Do, I Completely Stand Beside Him.”

      Further proving that Fox News is pulling falsehoods out of the air, Island Def Jam Music Group Chairman, Antonio "L.A." Reid was at the premiere of the film “American Gangster” and pretty much confirmed that they are absolutely down with Nas.
      "Really, who’d you hear that from?" Reid told MTV News after he was asked if the Fox News report saying Def Jam would refuse to release an album called “Nigger”, was true.
      "We support everything our artists do, everything!" he told MTV News. "We stand firmly behind and beside our artists with pride and with pleasure. Anything Nas wants to do, I completely stand beside him. Nas is prolific, he’s prophetic, he’s a genius, an amazing artist of respect. So, while I’m not sure exactly all that ‘Nigger’ entails, I know it’s smart, so I stand behind him. That’s real."
      Nas said last week that he’s nearly finished with his album and plans to drop it on December 11.
