OK so over the weekend there was a glimmer of hope for Dipset fans when Cam explained to MTV that he had in fact spoken on the telephone to Jim Jones when he had called Freekey Zeke. We all know Dipset need to work as a unit as individually they don’t necessarily have the same appeal, so for true Dipset fans the news that these two were speaking was a break through after all the bitchiness and he said/he said displays in recent interviews. But get this, talking to Angela Yee and Leah Rose over at Sirius Jimmy said he hadn’t spoke at all to Cam and he knew nothing about this call. CLICK HERE to hear Jim say ‘if the money is right’ they can get their chat on lol. How to kill an interview.
With Smoke DZA and Pete Rock's full-length collabo, Don't Smoke Rock, dropping tomorrow, the New York duo has released a new visual via Complex. The site also premiered an exclusive stream of the album.
The seemingly unlikely pairing of Berner and Cam'ron, which is set to drop a joint project, link up with Wiz Khalifa and Young Dolph for a new song off of their forthcoming Contraband EP. Additionally, "Dope Spot" finds Wiz reuniting with Berner and Cam'ron after just appearing on their first single a week ago. The track, which also has a feature from Memphis' rising star Young Dolph, will appear on Contraband -- Berner and Cam'ron's EP, dropping Tuesday. Check out "Dope Spot" after the jump.
The Doppelgangaz meet The Diplomats. Now repeat that ten times over. Anyway, the New York duo of The Doppelgangaz (Matter Ov Fact and EP) are linking up with Mr. Capo himself, Jim Jones, for "Jail Weight." The track is set to appear on The Gangaz forthcoming project titled Parts Unknown. Jones and Gangaz together actually kinda works, even in spite of the initial "WTF" when seeing those two on the same track. Check out The Doppelgangaz' "Jail Weight" after the jump.
Like clockwork, Jadakiss is back (this time riding solo) with another weekly track. Al-Queda Jada drops bombs over Cam'ron's Just Blaze-produced instrumental "The Roc (Just Fire)" as part of his #T5DOA freestyle series on "Two Curse Words."
