Hip-hop basket-mouth 50 Cent set the Internet on fire with some derogatory remarks Diddy’s business ventures yesterday on G-Unit Radio. Diddy didn’t seem notice, as he’s too busy embarking on a business campaign. The hip-hop mogul is part of CNBC’s American Business campaign.

The campaign honors the most successful entrepreneurs in the United States. Diddy said that when he established his Sean John clothing line, there was a young male consumer that no one was speaking to. “He wanted more fashion, more style, more flavor, and I was able to bring him that" said Diddy  in the ad, which was made by CNBC’s internal marketing team.

He added: “My whole portfolio brand represents aspiration. I came from Harlem, New York,” said in one of the spots from the campaign, “it’s about wanting the better things in life. I want to make history all the time. I’m honored to be included in this group of America’s chief executives and top business leaders. I’ve worked very hard to get where I am today and the testimonial showcases my philosophy on business.”

Chew on that, Curtis.
